Docket News?

Here is the newest on the docket.  If you click on it it should get bigger.

Is there news here?  Not sure.  I am lucky if I stumble on the right questions - no answers here.  Here are 4 questions:  Is it normal for parties to say who is not a part of their party?  Is it common for parties to not file things right the first time?  Is the party that you file an appeal against really called an appellee?  and is that how you spell it?

Four questions and I am only confident the answer to the last three is yes.

SkunK

I think I will be traveling when the 10-K comes out, so keep on eye on things here.  Every day for six weeks I have been waking to the surf on the big pond - on the west side looking east.  At my age, when the flight is so long you land before you take off sometimes it takes a day (or two) to fully bounce back.

We are a week away from the start of the settlement discussions in Chicago presided over by Jonathon Marks. This could be the most significant event in the history of this company since GE Energy Financial Services agreed to invest $38 million in Greenshift http://greenshift-gers.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html (see December 28, 2008 entry). This agreement later collapsed due to the world-wide financial crisis. When/if a settlement is concluded and announced or "leaked", activity on this board will increase greatly with equal number of blinded detractors and blinded protectors coming to guard the perimeter like a junk yard dog.

As a counter example to the pundits that continue to cry that GERS always is and always will be a "scam", I provide this 2008 commentary from an alternative energy news letter about the GE/GERS deal:

"We find it notable that GE, which has been under a great deal of financial pressure itself, elected to make a sizable investment in this area and chose to work with a tiny company such as GreenShift."

The pessimism expressed in the above mantra can only be correct if GERS/KK "pulled the wool over the eyes" of General Electric Energy Financial Services -- unlikely. Point -- balanced/objective discussions are what is needed here as we approach a major event in this company's history (and future); will we get it? I don't think so.

I picked-up more on this pullback. 32 Million Shares outstanding, so with something like a $32 Million settlement, you do the math on the share price.

Tomorrow I may just add another 50 to 100 thousand shares...

#32 million outstanding shares? Where did you get that number? $32 million settlement -- not even the interest.
