Todd Becker GPRE

Todd Becker from GPRE shows off an ethanol plant - producing ". . . the cheapest motor fuel in the world today - without the subsidy. . . ."

SEE VIDEO HERE

Listen to Tod Becker talk about GPRE and corn oil deployment HERE.  All you have to do is put in a name/email to sign in and you can put "Investor" when it asks for "company" (or you company if you wish to.)  Once you are in you may be prompted to enable pop up/active script or something depending on how you have things set.

He talks Corn Oil mostly from 6:30 - about 9:20 - or almost three minutes.

"One of the most exciting initiatives we have embarked on is deploying corn oil extraction at our plants".

Some Tidbits:
All COES complete by end of 2nd quarter.
Went in thinking they had an $18-20M capital outlay with an $18-20M increase in Operating Revenue for the Corn Oil deployment decision.  This was based on 20 cents/pound.  With increase in price of raw corn oil to north of 50 cents/pound - the capital outlay remains the same and the return will likely increase to $30-40M in Operating Revenue.

This certainly matches the earlier talk of these COES paying for themselves in as little as six months.

Unfortunately, the global lock is still in place as of today. A few brokerages abide by it most do not. However, it is not a good thing to have hanging over GERS as we move forward. Can any one who has been successful with obtaining a response from GERS inquire why the global lock is still in place?

agreed, I still cannot buy more stock on Ameritrade. This measure was supposed to be temporary.

Neil, I tried, sent this to Greenshift this afternoon:

Unfortunately, as of today, the global lock is still in place. Most brokerages do not abide by this and allow electronic purchases of GERS. Several, including USAA and TD Ameritrade abide by the global lock and do not allow electronic purchases of GERS. It was our understanding that the global lock was temporary. Its duration is now several months and as GERS moves forward it is not good to have this trading restriction hanging over the company. Does the company have any more updates to provide to investors and stock holders?

Thank you.
