All of the issued and outstanding capital stock held by Candent is in trust for the benefit of its former president. The note payable to Candent shall bear interest at a rate of 10% per year and matures November 8, 2010. (P. 21 1st Quarter)

Lawrence M. Kreisler - Lawrence is the sole owner of Serenity Capital, LLC. Built Kreisler Bags, then Kreisler Bags and Filters, then KBF Pollution Control Inc., then KBF Pollution Management Inc. After 1-20 R/S Sept2003 company was taken over by Veridium Corp in Oct2003, controlled by son Kevin. Resigned, effective December 31, 2003, as an officer and director of Veridium Corporation. Continued to work at Veridium's Paterson, New Jersey based recycling facility, that was designed on recycling technologies he invented. His employment was terminated in July 2004 due to irreconcilable philosophical differences in how to best operate and grow that facility. Bronze Parachute included: 100 percent of his salary of $150,000 through December 31, 2004 and 50 percent of his salary through December 31, 2006. Medical benefits until the age of 65. Lawrence is about 61 years old.
Scott Kreisler - Scott is the sole owner of Cyrus Capital, LLC. Brother of Kevin Kreisler, listed as a Beneficial Owner of Veridium Corporation on 4/2/2002 SEC filings. The 2005 annual report also says: "During 2005, Scott Kreisler, brother of Kevin Kreisler, received salaries of $72,700. Scott Kreisler no longer works for the Company." In February 2006, Cyrus Capital, LLC, purchased from GCS Investments $500,000 in convertible debt issuedby GS Clean Tech. During the period ended March 31, 2006, Cyrus effected conversions totaling $280,000, corresponding to 14,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock. This is a civil proceeding. GERS cannot bring criminal charges, that is the government's role. If fraud or other crimes have been committed then some prosecutor will need to bring charges, if they believe he can be convicted. In other words, I have no idea.

anony 10:29 I like your link America's largest big tech corporations are now using a business technique called "efficient infringement," which means that they calculate the benefits of stealing someone else's patented technology against the possibility of getting caught, tried in court and being forced to pay damages and penalties. If the benefits exceed the costs, they steal.
What makes patent theft so attractive is that infringement is not a criminal act and those found guilty face no jail time. Paying up is the worst that can happen to the infringer.

However, if the jury does conclude that they were part of a conspiracy to steal the little company's idea, I hope that the judge and jury will impose a judgment that is big enough to scare corporate CEOs everywhere. If money is the only penalty for infringement, then a staggeringly large award is the only way to send a message to corporate America that they should avoid any conspiracy to infringe someone's patents as though it were the Bubonic Plague.

How do I feel about it?
The law is the law, like it or not. Does a ship's captain deserve imprisonment for trying to save a sinking ship and the crew on board? Do bankers deserve more than a slap on the risk for taking one sided bets using borrowed money purely for personal gain? We can all argue whether the law is fair or not, but if the fact is that an action is not criminal, then wishing a prison sentence on someone is inconsequential. If ICM/DVG are as wilful in infringing as some here think and the judge agrees, then the financial penalties will probably be as big a blow to the company and individual as any prison sentence.
Jail time my ass. If I caught you stealing my gold you would be shot on site. worm food. Sheriff, judge, jury, executioner all in one.
