Another Sign

Another sign about just how important this 1Q is  - is the quickness and the prominence the company has used to display it on the GERS website.  It is now on the home page HERE,  and under presentations and reports HERE.

Of course, if you like a printed copy - where the pages are clear and crisp and do not run into each other - nothing beats that PDF put out by the company - HERE

I hope that this new energy and performance translates into a PR soon. With the quality of the 10-Q there is no reason to wait unless something very big is brewing such as a blockbuster signing or a settlement with the litigants. We need more visibility and more new blood (money that is, I am not a shark) to get this parade moving. If we do not get the PR soon I suspect that something important is in the offing.

Zecco joins TD Ameritrade and USAA. This from I-Hub today, new and distrubing implication for SELLING existing position --

"Thank you for contacting Zecco Trading.

GERS is no longer a DTC eligible security. As a result, these securities must be traded by means of physical certificate and delivery. At this time, all trades for these securities must be made over the phone and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. This is done to ensure that you are fully aware of the fees associated with settling trades by way of physical delivery.

Please note that it is still possible to liquidate your positions by settling trades with delivery of physical certificates however the fees associated with such a transaction (buys and/or sales) in this security is estimated to range between $200-$700 for each position (potentially more). Please note that we do not benefit from the charges applied to physically settling these securities. These are simply pass-through fees. If you wish to continue in trading this security, please contact a financial service representative by phone so that we can manually take this order from you.

We hope that this information has been helpful. Please feel free to reply to this message if you have additional concerns."

Anony,

Read. Go to I-Hub and you will find the communication from ZECCO, post number 12929. Do some research please before you character assassinate.

Read. Go to Ihub and read post 12938. He bought through Zecco today. Your character is under attack from your own constant negative attacks.

Doesn't 12929 on Sunday predate 12938 today? Your are very defensive about anything that does not sing the praises of GERS no matter how well documented. I have brought more positive info to these comments and other boards than you can squeeze into your hat. From time-to-time there are negative findings as well. Don't bother responding, we have polluted the Skunk's blog too much already.

I called Zecco myself to inquire (I have been purchasing through them ever since TD halted trading of additional positions). Sadly, I learned that 'nobody' is correct and the stock is no longer DTCC-elegible. I then contacted the DTC directly to ascertain why. Customer Service can not say why they lost their DTC status, but did mention it could be the result of filing failues, financial concerns, or a pending investigation. So I called the company and left a message for David W. Hopefully he'll return the call. I am still optomistic about the future, and hoping that this situation will change as their finance picture improves this year.

Any insights anyone?

It has been this way with TD Ameritrade and USAA for quite a while. It would be interesting to know what brought Zecco to this position so late, when things appear to be looking better for GERS?
