New Venue

Not sure what this means to shareholders but it looks like GERS is still OTC - but no longer OTC Bulletin Board.  Looking Here at first link - it shows a chart that ranks OTC designations - it certainly appears to be a promotion.

We went from being just above the Stinky Pinkys to the second position in the chart (see first link).  If we look at this second link we definitely went from OTC Link/FINRA BB to OTCQB - HERE

The OTC Market Tiers, ranked from highest to lowest:

The OTCQX marketplace is the premier tier of the U.S. over-the-counter market. Investor-focused companies use the quality controlled OTCQX listing platform to offer investors transparent trading, superior information, and easy access through their regulated U.S. broker-dealers.
The OTCQB market tier helps investors easily identify companies that are current in their reporting obligations with the SEC or report to a U.S. banking or insurance regulator. OTCQB securities are quoted on OTC Markets Group's quotation and trading system and some may also be quoted on FINRA's BB. See OTCQB Fact Sheet
This security is one of approximately 30 OTC securities that are quoted solely on FINRA's BB quotation system so market makers must use the telephone to make any trades.
Companies that follow the International Reporting Standard or the Alternative Reporting Standard by making filings publicly available through the OTC Disclosure & News Service pursuant to OTC Markets Group Guidelines for Providing Adequate Current Information (pdf) are designated as OTC Pink Current Information. The Current Information category is based on the level of disclosure and is not a designation of quality or investment risk. This category includes shell or development stage companies with little or no operations as well as companies without audited financials and as such should be considered extremely speculative by investors

No go with USAA today.

Dear XXXXXXXX,
I received notice that USAA is still not accepting buy orders for GERS. The reason for this is that it is still not DTC eligible.
Should you have additional questions concerning this matter, call the USAA Trade Team at (800) 830-8851 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. central time.

This DTCC restriction is still hanging over GERS head. A legitimate company needs to clear this restriction.

I agree - seems to be no excuse for it to go on this long. Having said that DTCC is incompetant and possibly corrupt so it may be out of GERS control.

Different issue but should help clarify --

Nobody,
You say it's a different issue, but perhaps it is related and this was the reason for the block on trading all the time....

GreenShift could really help themselves by handling news opportunities like these to shed a positive light upon itself the way it was done with the stock below. I am not trying to spam with that company, just showing an example.

China Crescent Announces Move to Exclusive OTCQB Quotation

Feb 28, 2011 12:43:07 (ET)

DALLAS, TX, Feb 28, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- China Crescent Enterprises, Inc. (otcqb:CCTR) today announced that the Company's stock quotation has moved exclusively to the OTC Markets Group, Inc.'s OTCQB, effective February 23, 2011. The OTCQB is one of three tiers established by OTC Markets and identifies companies that are fully reporting with the SEC, to include China Crescent. China Crescent was previously dually quoted on both the OTCBB and OTC Markets quotation systems. Last week, more than 560 dually quoted companies, including China Crescent, moved to being quoted exclusively on the OTCQB. The FINRA operated OTCBB, now contains approximately 20 securities which are quoted solely on this system and represent less than 0.1% of the average daily dollar volume for the entire OTC market.

Neil,

Not related. Two separate issues. The movement from OTCBB affected more than 600 stocks.
