Income Statement released

The Income Statement was released today and as expected, it wasn't pretty. Two things really caught the SkunK's eye. The first is the nearly -($50M) Net Income From Continuing Ops. I see a large part of the increase in the $21M non-recurring Operating Expense.

Secondly, when you look at the quarterly data for Gross Revenues we get a feel for how devastating the 4th Quarter really was.

1Q $6,556,000
2Q $11,482,000
3Q $6,089,000
Total Revenue First 3 Quarters= $24,127,000

2008 Total Revenue= $23,617,000

Unless my basic math is way off, we somehow had a NEGATIVE GROSS REVENUE stream for the 4th quarter. OF -($510,000).

1Q $6,556,000
2Q $11,482,000
3Q $6,089,000
4Q -($510,000)
2008=$23,617,000

Up to the 4th Quarter this company was set to likely exceed the $30M revenues from last year. However, this company obviously did not escape the contraction of the economy, nor the depression of the biodiesel and biofuel industry in the fall of last year. I do not expect the numbers of the first quarter just ended, to show much, if any improvement. GERS needs financing, quickly. Some patents finalized and some government grants/guarantees would also help.

Good Luck to all Investors,
SkunK
