One thing is the (13K) under Research Development stands out. Being an expense this means that Research Development generated a positive cash flow??? Some sale or licensing of an asset? Because of where it is - this is an interesting question even though the amount is not large. Perhaps this is tied to CICS? or . . . ECOSYSTEM CORP - ESYM.OB? Here from their 3Q:
So, could ESYM be paying a licensing fee to Greenshift ever since December 2007? Or could they be paying a portion of the Research and Development conducted by Greenshift as part of the agreement? If this is the case it could explain the positive cash flow this quarter for Greenshift Research Development. It would also explains why GERS had a total expenditure of only a thousand dollars in the 1Q for Research Development - the same quarter the pilot bioreactor was completed and the solar array in the picture posted on this blog. Greenshift may have spent a significant portion on Research Development but once the income is removed the expense seems insignificant. There may be more going on in this sector than the SkunK realized.
The one? thing the SkunK's theory is missing is finding the matching expense in the ESYM books.
PS. Just so no one reads something into what I did not say (like that could happen!), I do own a few shares of ESYM and CICS. If I remember right that came about by the consolidation. Neither CICS or ESYM presently fits the profile I am looking for.
