Ethanol Production and Corn Prices both up

Ethanol production jumped this week by 10,000 barrels per day. Old crop corn values will need to remain firm to ration both exports and ethanol production; however, look for a setback in the grain markets early next week if the Chinese purchases cannot be confirmed.
SEE HERE

One of the things that will affect GreenShift corn oil production into the future - is Ethanol production.  We saw corn oil production remain flat with GPRE last quarter as GPRE cut some plants back to 70% ethanol production.  Various levels of ethanol production at different plants are more efficient than others.  Less stillage, less corn oil.  So I suspect we need to occasionally focus one eye on ethanol production at our established customers in order to properly estimate present, short term revenues.  It is good to see ethanol production go up for the week.  Future revenues focus will remain on new customers.

  1. I guess nobody has never read such an article as this where it clearly states that corn prices surged on a RUMOR that china bought a bunch of it. To here him tell it that never happens in the stock market. Oh well I guess the deciever was wrong once again. Its all part of his devious plan to try to average down and make his money back. Just like the spartan of troy.

  2. Truthlessness,

I have never said that rumors moving through the financial community cannot impact a company's share price or commodity prices, although temporarily. In fact I have given an example, one I profited on, with GNBT where six years ago a rumor that GNBT developed a vaccine for avian flu caused the PPS to increase more than ten fold.

Please, please quote me correctly. What I have said is that statements on blogs, positive or negative, have little measurable effect. If you do not know the difference between the financial community and a blog, you are going to struggle here; or is it because you want to believe that all the energy that you spend pumping GERS is useful?

  3. Geez Total,
You are really desperate to attempt to discredited anyone who does not suscribe to your theories. You know how many yahoo posters make themselves look foolish with their radical negativity? You are just as foolish in the opposite spectrum. At least get your facts straight. Your little whining comment above isn't even close to being accurate and anyone who follows ihub and Skunk knows it.

  5. It sounds to me like someone else got discreditted as well just another one of nobodys flunkies who bought in at the wrong time and desperately trying to buy shares with the little money they have in an attempt to break even as they don't have a clue about the stock market

  6. Let's just wait and see what the next communcation is that is credible. Then we may all make up our own minds. Confusing unfounded statements do not help anyone. Rely on fact based research and previous official statements, Q's and announcements. Anyone who is playing short here may want to back off. After following this stock for several years, shorties have lost their pants while longies have continually averaging down waiting for the big boom. THAT IS IF IT MAY HAPPEN> We all know who will be first to win and there are a hand-full of them that happen to be connected to GERS. The rest of us will take whatever scraps they throw our way. In the end, they hold the purse strings.

    Please respond.

  7. The approach taken by some to discredited posters that are not blinded to the many problems and issues GERS has if it is going to meet their expectations is disingenuous. That approach is to castigate the objective posters as fools for buying into VRDM/GSCT/GERS(D) too early thereby leaving them frustrated and disenchanted resulting in venting their anger through their posts. Most people that bought in early continue to average down, perhaps foolishly, but through this process have accumulated large positions. To attempt to discredit these people is in essence an attempt to discredit GERS as the long timers have exhibited far more faith and understanding of the technology than any newbie self righteous protector of the GERS moat.
