The unsigned VDT July 31 letter (K1) sent via email on August 1, 2003 and the signed VDT July 31(Q1) letter are in different formats (due to the different logos)
An ink dating examination of the non-ballpoint writing ink using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis was not feasible since the VDT July 31 letter (Q1) was signed more than six months prior to my receipt of the letter for forensic analysis.
A blue non-ballpoint writing ink was used to produce the David Cantrell signatures on page 2 of the VDT July 31 and page 3 of the VDT August 19 letter. The ink matches a formulation manufactured by Pilot Pen Corporation, which has been used in their pens since the 1990s and still remains widely available. Based on the commercial availability of the writing ink, no opinion can be given as to the date the signature was made.

Kevin being a lawyer should have known the impact (if any) of quoting a price with an offer prior to the official patent being issued.
Or am I missing something and this will have little impact?
Well, if he is right then someone has likely committed a felony against the defendants and the common shareholders as well. Perhaps this is why KK "willingly" gave up the CEO position.
We have to hope that this becomes a matter of "dueling experts" with no clear cut outcome to guide the Court.
